In our backyard, we have a small birdbath that's surrounded by bright yellow sundrop flowers. These perennials seem to grow well in almost any location and give a strong punch of colour to any garden. The flowers around my birdbath are really a tangled collection of bee balm, asters and sundrops but they do look attractive when in bloom. This is a quick sketch.
