Happy New Year 2010. During this year's decline, some Catholic schools have benefited from Kolwezi grace of our Lord God.
This Wednesday, 22/12/2010, Mayor of the town of Kolwezi, Mrs Cime Jinga has launched the construction of new buildings for modern Primary School Mwangeji Mwangeji the village.

One day of October, the Director of School and his poor students learned that the Governor Moses passed on the highway, not far from their buildings. As blind the Gospel, the Director and his students ran screaming to the Governor: "Have mercy on us."
While security embarrassed by these "hecklers" wanted them out of the way, Governor Moses saw the signs, "we lack the buildings." Having received the latest information on the actual case of this school (pictures of shacks in support), the Governor has finally decided to build new buildings in the village Mwangeji for this Catholic school.
In his speech for the occasion, the Mayor of the city is back on this episode, which had failed badly for the Director: "I had it for, arrested the coordinator of Catholic Schools." E t the Police Commander of price increases that had the intention to stop the Director, who had exposed students to the road. Nowadays it is rather a day of joy, because through this gesture very daring, the School can benefit from new buildings. The book, which includes 6 local (level) will be conducted by the Enterprise-KARA CONSTRUCTION.

Kara Builders and the Coordinator of Catholic Schools |
Students, teachers and people of Mwangeji, attending this ceremony, have lived this day like a dream or rather, a rebirth of their neighborhood. But already their village is surrounded by villas that augur a new era: The new town of Kolwezi certainly born from the ashes of the village Mwangeji.

The EP Mwanga wa Taifa located in the city is unrecognizable Manika today. Formerly comprised of three massive buildings walls cracked and roofless, Mwanga wa Taifa PE was dying.
ECCATH The Coordinator did not want to wait for the manna falling from Heaven, "We must try to take over" The roof work has begun well with our scarce resources . The task seemed impossible, and probably grew in our hearts, when some European visitors accompanied by Salvatorian Fathers passed by our poor starts. Having made inquiries about this work of the Catholic school, they decided to fund total rehabilitation of the school reduced to remnants of former glories: Strengthening the foundation, rebuilding some walls and sealing, painting, roofing, sheet metal, paint ... so much work among others who have transformed from top to bottom PE Mwanga wa Taifa.
Mwanga wa Taifa EP before and after |
Today Mwanga wa Taifa, whose Swahili name means "Light of the Nation" sparkles.
One caveat for the moment: Students sit on the floor.
Grand Mwanga School for Girls, in the heart of the city of Kolwezi, had, in turn, work Pharaonic rehabilitation since 2009.
The Provincial Governor at the base of the rehabilitation of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, came into person, June 22, 2010 to celebrate the completion and inauguration of a new era for this great school.
Similarly PE Kanina located in a poor neighborhood in the town of Kolwezi could rejoice if the construction work initiated by the NGO "Solidarity Center" had succeeded.
This school similar to Mwangeji village was targeted by the U.S. NGO Solidarity Center to benefit the construction of new buildings.
Unfortunately for this city, the construction of a school in durable materials have been poorly implemented: some walls have collapsed shortly after construction, the work remained unfinished and Solidarity Center is gone.
population and students seem to be betrayed ... you must think to redo the work or to consolidate.
The Technical College of the City Juhudi Manika held Saturday, December 18, 2010 an open house "for Parents and school authorities, according to the school calendar issued by the Ministry of EPSP (Primary, Secondary and Vocational Education).

Children School Guardian "Hakiki SANTIAGO" City MCM Mutoshi received a visit from Father Christmas to close the first quarter, the same Saturday, December 18.
This school has just come into being in September last year and is still in its infancy. But children, beautifully dressed, did not respect them, stammering. They have demonstrated an exceptional eloquence in recitations and games. What has amazed and encouraged parents who are reassured Mutoshi now the right training. The Swahili name of the school "Hakiki" issuing invitations Does not insurance! Thank you Father Christmas or Saint Nicolas (everyone to choose) for gifts made to Hakiki cute.
