Why Do I Prefer Women That Wear Nylon

Petawawa Gorges / Petawawa Gorges

The legendary Tom Thomson (1877-1917) Created Hundreds of lovely oil paintings in the wilderness of northern Ontario , Many Within Algonquin Park . A large number Were Executed as outdoor compositions - an impressive feat Given the Rough terrain, harsh climate and the difficult travel conditions that he had to overcome. The Petawawa River was one of the areas that he explored by canoe. At one point, the river winds itself through a narrow gorge with towering hills on either side. This was a scene that inspired Thomson to create several small oil paintings. My painting is a copy of Petawawa Gorges which he painted in 1916 on a 8.5 x 10.5 inch (21.5 x 26.7 cm) wood panel. (Click here for samples of his paintings including Petawawa Gorges .) While I don’t usually copy the work of other artists, it did give me a better understanding of how this painting was created. Oil painting, 12 x 10 inches (30.4 x 25 cm).

Wegener's Life Expectancy

Birdbath / The bird bath

In our backyard, we have a small birdbath that's surrounded by bright yellow sundrop flowers. These perennials seem to grow well in almost any location and give a strong punch of colour to any garden. The flowers around my birdbath are really a tangled collection of bee balm, asters and sundrops but they do look attractive when in bloom. This is a quick sketch. Watercolour, 7.5 x 7.5 inches (19 x 19 cm)

Sponge Bobwaffle Maker

Vegetables en Papillote new bios

past few months, I'll buy my fruits and vegetables in an organic farm Toulouse *. They sell their produce and other organic fruits and vegetables, eggs and good bread, and every 15 days, there are also organic poultry.

I love this place where I can buy my fruits and vegetables both organic and local (I try to purchase priority goods grown locally).
Prices seem quite reasonable for the organic and the reception is very nice.

With some of the vegetables bought this week I wanted to a mixture of fresh vegetables steamed to best preserve the vitamins.
course, I left the skin with all the vegetables (except carrots) without feeling guilty and having to choose between vitamins or pesticides!

To cook vegetables, I used my
steam Mastrad Papillote pink to the advantage of cooking quickly in the microwave.

Ingredients for 2 people:
- 3 small zucchini
- 1 small carrot
-
some beans - 1 small
spring onion - 1 small leek new
- 6 new potatoes shot
-
sea salt - freshly ground pepper

Expand all vegetables into pieces.
Make larger pieces for cooking the vegetables faster so that everything is cooked together. The important thing is that the potatoes are cooked, the vegetables can stay crunchy.

Arrange the vegetables in the silicon foil with a little salt.
Cook for 5-6 minutes in microwave at full power. Check if potatoes are cooked by planting the tip of a knife, if not continue cooking for 1 or 2 minutes.

Pepper before serve and enjoy such as an accompaniment to grilled beef.

Blue Sea Lake Dock / Dock Lake at Rapids Blue Sea

Several years ago, we spent an enjoyable week at a cottage in the Upper Gatineau region on Lac Blue Sea. The water was crystal clear. In fact, my daughter dove into the lake and found a silver chain that someone had lost off a dock in 15 feet of water. This lake is very large and has been used as a vacation spot since at least the 1920s. Its a real gem. I composed a small series of watercolours while vacationing; in this one, we are looking down a stairway leading to a floating dock. Watercolour, 9 x 12 inches (22.8 x 30 cm).
